Lmao, looks like absolutely nothing has changed since 2015 with this account, huh??? Still not finishing the commissions that people paid for?? I remember how long I waited until you actually finished mine, which ended up being not worth it in the end. We really need to be honest here, okay? You have a problem. And it's going to get you into legal trouble in the future if you don't clean up your act.
I understand that you probably feel really unmotivated to draw things because you're depressed. This however does not justify the time it takes you to complete a commission, a product that someone paid for. Be it chronic, seasonal, situational, etc. if you really, truly are depressed there are better ways to manage it without pissing customers off.
I'm going to give you some advice, you can choose whether to listen or not. It doesn't affect me either way, I already got what I paid for. I know what it feels like to not want to make commissions and instead draw things that you wanna draw. Hell, I used to have requests available a long time ago. Some of the work that I did for others, pieces that I really wasn't feeling, I didn't even get paid for. I fucking get it. But if you're gonna do commissions, you need to push through it. People paid you for a product and it's legally expected that you deliver. It's common sense.
Now, I'm not a licensed therapist, but I think it'd be a good idea if you closed your commissions indefinitely. Think about it, depression leads to feeling unmotivated, being unmotivated means you're less likely to complete commissions, and that leads to unhappy customers having to wait months to a whole year for a piece priced at less than $10. I'm just gonna come out and say what everyone's thinking. That is ridiculous. Honestly, if you still want to earn some kind of profit by doing artwork, stick to only adopts. That way, you can sell em whenever you want and there's not really an expected deadline.
Take this comment however you want.
